Ph.D., Medicinal & Organic Chemistry
Vincent joined Edelris in 2007 as a medicinal and organic synthetic chemist and has worked on numerous successful projects for a range of clients (Big Pharma and Biotech companies). In 2020, he was appointed Manager of the Medicinal & Organic Chemistry Unit
He started his industrial career at Novexel (later acquired by Astra Zeneca) working in the field of DiazaBicycloOctane antibiotics (DBOs).
As a post-doc, he worked in the group of Nigel Simpkins (Nottingham) where he developed the use of chiral bases for total synthesis. Vincent obtained his Ph.D. from the Université de Haute-Alsace in Mulhouse, where he studied the design and syntheses of analogs of the complex natural product fumagillin. He has co-authored over 20 publications and patents.
