Jean-Yves co-founded Edelris in 2005 and has been the CEO since its inception. Under his leadership, together with the science and management teams, the business has grown from a start-up with a few employees to an SME servicing clients across the globe (Europe, US, and Japan).
Prior to Edelris, he explored and pioneered innovative Hit-generation technologies across discovery project teams, first at Rhône-Poulenc, then at Merck KGaA.
Jean-Yves worked as an undergraduate at Sheffield University (Prof. J. F. Stoddart, Nobel Laureate 2016). He holds a Ph.D. from Lyon University/Rhône-Poulenc and a post-doc from Harvard Dept of Chemistry and Chemical Biology (Prof. G. L. Verdine). He is currently president of the French Medicinal Chemistry Society (Société de Chimie Thérapeutique).
