Research Scientist in biochemistry (F/M) – 1-year Fixed-term contract

As a Research Scientist in Biochemistry, you will lead customer R&D projects focused on the identification of bioactive compounds through advanced screening methods.
This position is offered as a one-year fixed-term contract (CDD).

Responsibilities
In line with EDELRIS’ scientific policy, and reporting to the Unit Manager, the Research Scientist in Biochemistry will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Define scientific strategies to identify bioactive compounds using screening methods aligned with clients’ targets (proteins, RNA, etc.).
• Keep the contract framework and deliver customer R&D projects on time and within budget.
• Lead and mentor your project team; share expertise and ensure scientific rigor.
• Apply and promote safety and confidentiality rules within the company.

Profile

• PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related topics.
• Expertise in biochemical techniques and protein or RNA–ligand interaction characterization.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in screening, in biophysics, or in automation is appreciated.
